CBSE EXPRESSION SERIES ON MAHATMA GANDHI

CBSE conducts several activities for holistic development of students. Creative
expression is one such aspect where our students have novel and innovative
approaches. In order to provide a platform to students to creatively express their
ideas/ views on various themes, CBSE shall conduct its Expression Series. This
Expression Series will be based on the life, vision and philosophy of
Mahatma Gandhi.

KVS PRE-REGIONAL MATHEMATICAL OLYMPIAD 2018

The Mathematical Olympiad Programme in India which leads to participation of Indian students in the International Mathematical Olympiad is organised by Homi Bhaba Centre for Science Education (HBCSE), Mumbai on behalf of the National Board of Higher Mathematics (NBHM), and Department of Atomic Energy with a purpose to spot Mathematical talent among Pre University of the country.

In this course of action, Homi Bhaba Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) has notified Pre-Regional Mathematical Olympiad 2018 on its website.

The main features are as under:

,

1.  The date of examination August 19, 2018 between 10:00 AM to 1: 00 PM.
2.  Eligibility: candidates born on or after August 1, 1999 and studying class Viii, IX, X, XI or XII are eligible to write PRMO 2018.
3. PRMO will be a machine- correctable 3 hour duration test of 30 questions.  Each question has an answer which is a number with one or two digits.

   4.  The registration fee for students of Kendriya Vidyalaya is RS 125 only for each student.
   5. All Kendriva Vidylayas have to register as registration centres from 1st June to 15” June, 2018
   6. Students may register upto 30 June for PRMO, 2018.
   7. Kendirya Vidyalayas will be examination centres.
   8. Top 5% of students” from class VIII, iX, X1 XI and 1% students from class XIIwill be selected for Regional Mathematical Olympiad. KVS has to conduct a camp-for students before Regional Mathematical Olympiad.

GREEN OLYMPIAD

PREPARATION FOR GREEN OLYMPIAD COMPETITION

GREEN Olympiad is an annual written examination on environment initiated by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) in 1999. The exam is conducted by Environment Education & Awareness Area (EEA) of TERI and attracts participation from school students across India and abroad.

The examination is open only for schools affiliated to recognized education boards and educational trusts. Students enrolled in such schools from grades IV to X can appear in this examination.

Date(s) of Examination (School can opt for ONLY one of these dates)	07 September 2018 AND 24 October 2018
Duration	1 Hour (10:00 am – 11:00 am)
Last date for Registration Language  Bilingual – English and Hindi Students from schools affiliated to a recognized education board/trust can participate in this examination. This ‘Registration Form’ is applicable for all the 3 Levels (students from classes 4 to 10). However, Separate forms should be filled for Levels 1, 2 and 3. Schools can also register ‘Online’ through the project website – www.teriin.org/olympiad. Individual registration forms will not be accepted from students.
